A venturi vacuum kit generates vacuum using compressed air. It connects to shop air and pulls vacuum through the fixture plate, allowing a CNC machine to run vacuum workholding without a dedicated pump. It is commonly used for wet machining where coolant is present.
Conical locator inserts provide fast, repeatable positioning for fixtures and sub-plates. They replace dowel pins and allow fixtures to seat quickly while maintaining alignment. They also serve as the mounting interface for custom workholding built on top of a vacuum fixture plate.
Vacuum plug packs are used when the part does not cover the full plate. Plugging unused ports concentrates vacuum force on the sealed area and reduces loss through open ports. They improve holding performance, especially for smaller parts.
