VFS – Haas VF-7
$22,000.00
Specifically designed to mount directly to a Haas Automation VF-7.
This plate is provided with a match machined mounting plate that will ensure easy install.
Simplify your setups on Haas VF, DM, and DT series machines. The vacuum chuck and fixture plate for Haas are one piece. No stacking, no chuck swaps, no rebuilding the table when the next job comes through.
Machined to Haas table tolerances and parallel within 0.1mm. Bolts in with included hardware. Compatible with Haas VF, DM, and DT series machines. Lives on the table when it’s not in use, so the next vacuum job is already set up. Plates ship un-faced so you can face them in-situ to match your machine’s level (full process in the manual).
The plate doesn’t replace your vise. It expands what the Haas can run. Mount it for plate work, sheet metal, large parts, or any job that needs full top-surface access. Pull it off when you need the table back for vise jobs. Or mount your vises on top. The two workflows coexist on the same machine.

The plate mounts directly to your Haas table T-slots using low-profile SHCS. No drilling, no modifications to the machine. A Haas VF-2 installation takes one person about 30 minutes the first time, less on subsequent swaps. Mounting hardware is included. If your existing setup uses an adapter plate, the VFS plate can mount on top of it without modifying the machine.
Since Haas doesn’t have a built-in vacuum, you have two options. The Magnetic Venturi Kit is the right choice for wet machining (flood coolant) since venturis pass fluid through without needing filtration, and it’s the most cost-effective entry. For dry machining or dedicated production, a vacuum pump is more efficient long-term. The plate works with any source pulling 20 inches of mercury or better.

If your Haas model isn’t in the list above, we’ll design and build a plate for it. Send us your machine model, table dimensions, and the part you’re trying to hold.
Shop the plates above or talk to an engineer. We build vacuum fixture plates daily, so we’ve seen your question before.
Common questions about vacuum fixture plates for Haas CNC machines. Covers setup, compatibility, holding force, and production use.
The best option is a vacuum fixture plate sized to match the table and travel of the specific machine.
VF-2, VF-3, and VF-4 plates are designed to mount directly to Haas T-slots, with full-surface vacuum coverage and integrated fixture grids. This ensures consistent holding force across the part and repeatable positioning.
Yes. Vacuum fixture plates are compatible with Haas DM (drill/mill) and DT (drill/tap) machines.
Because these machines have different table sizes and layouts, plate sizing and mounting need to match the specific model. Standard and custom plates are both used depending on the setup.
No. A Haas CNC machine does not need built-in vacuum. Most setups use either:
Both options provide sufficient vacuum for standard plate work.
Holding force comes from atmospheric pressure, about 14.7 psi. A 6 × 6 inch sealed part produces roughly 500 pounds of clamping force. Larger parts generate more force as the sealed area increases.
This is suitable for finishing passes on aluminum, plastics, and composites. Heavy roughing is still better handled with a vise or mechanical fixture.
A vacuum fixture plate and a vise solve different problems. A vise is used for smaller, rigid parts and heavy material removal. A vacuum fixture plate is used for flat parts, thin stock, and jobs that require full top-surface access. Many shops run both on the same machine, depending on the job.
Yes. Vacuum fixture plates are used for both high-mix and production workflows. For repeat parts, shops typically:
It reduces setup time and improves repeatability across runs.
Initial installation takes about 30 minutes on a Haas VF-series machine. After installation, setup time depends on the sealing method:
In most cases, the plate remains on the machine between jobs.
Both products give you a grid that mounts to the Haas table, but they solve different problems. A Saunders plate is a mechanical fixturing grid, so you bolt vises, stops, and fixtures into it. A VFS plate is a vacuum fixture plate. The vacuum chuck and the mechanical fixture grid are built into the same surface, so you can run vacuum workholding for flat parts and bolt mechanical fixturing for vise work onto the same plate. The two product lines don’t compete directly; many Haas shops run both; a Saunders plate on one machine for vise-heavy work, a VFS plate on another for plate and sheet work.
