Vacuum Workholding Designed
by a Working Shop

VacFixture started as an internal solution to a real problem: machining large flat aerospace plates and small widgets in vises on the same machine, on the same day, without losing setup time to constant teardowns. Today the same plates ship to job shops, prototype shops, and production floors across the country.

Why VFS Exists

DEVELOP LLC, an automation systems integrator and contract machine shop in Verona, Wisconsin, was running into the same problem week after week. One machine had to handle large aerospace plate work and smaller automation components that needed vises. Switching between the two cost an hour every time.

The fix was a fixture plate that could do both at once. Vacuum holding for large flat parts. Conical locators for vises and accessory hardware. Sealed grids for production work. Edge workholding (Skirts) for the jobs that needed a vertical face. One plate. Lives on the table.

After two years of running it on DEVELOP’s own shop floor, customers started asking where they could buy one for their machines. That is what VacFixture is.

What We Make

Vacuum fixture plates and CNC vacuum workholding systems for Haas, Brother, Fanuc, Doosan, Datron, and Hurco. Pre-configured kits for shops whose machine is not on that list. Custom plates and Skirts for jobs that need a dedicated solution.

Every plate integrates the vacuum chuck and the fixture grid into one piece of hardware. That is the product. Everything else on this site supports that one idea.

Who Buys From Us

High-mix job shops that change setups all day. Production shops running dedicated parts. R&D teams, and prototype shops where the part geometry changes every week. Automation cells that need repeatable positioning.

What they all share: vacuum workholding lets them focus on the details that matter, like programming and fixturing strategy, instead of fighting clamps and chucks between every job.

Designed and Built in the USA

Designed and built by DEVELOP LLC in Verona, Wisconsin. Every plate is machined and ground in our own shop. We use the same plates on the same machines we sell them for.
